There are excellent logistical reasons not to cruise now: if you get COVID you’ll be stuck in your stateroom, or offloaded in a port. the flip side though is almost everyone on a cruise ship is vaccinated and they're tested before boarding, so you're dealing with a set of people who have some protection against infection and were less likely to be infected on day 0
