In case it’s not obvious, many places in the U.S. may run out of PCR testing capacity soon. I don’t think the fact that many vaccinated will test positive has sunk in. Current quarantine/isolation guidelines don’t fit an Omicron wave. I think we have a communication emergency.

Many more isolation policies could, in theory, be reframed so negative antigen tests ended the quarantine period.

Do we have any idea how big of a risk boosted asymptomatic people are to spread the virus? The NFL lets those people go after 2 negative tests 24 hours apart. Is that realistic?
