I got the first booster recently and even then I was pretty sure it was my last one. No more of that. But now I'm definitely sure it was my last one. We have great treatment options, further vaccination doesn't seem worth it.https://www.statnews.com/2021/12/14/pfizers-covid-pill-remains-89-effective-in-final-analysis-company-says/ …

Ok well maybe I will change my mind! I'll tell you I'm finding it very very difficult in the present information environment to feel like I can adequately assess risks of one course of action or another.

With my second shot I was out for a day and a half, sore, etc. It sucked and I was like, "maybe I don't do this anymore and just get COVID once a year and it's mild like allergies because there are drugs for it now." But again, I dunno.

Why wouldn't you want to have both a vaccine, then if the vaccine fails, you take pills costing a total of $550 that cut your chance of having to go to the hospital by 88%?

Are you lying for any particular reason? “Adverse events occurred at similar rates between the placebo and Paxlovid groups, and patients on Paxlovid were less likely to have a severe problem or to stop taking the drug due to a perceived side effect”

Or maybe I know more than you do and spent more than a minute on Google before assuming anyone more informed or smarter than me was lying. The problem is Ritonavir. It’s harder to manage and has a black box label warning.

Depending on individual risk level, there is reason to question all these vaccine doses. Bodies can start ignoring them and future variations may not work as well.https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2772613421000068 …
