Despite huge supply in the US, I’m hearing from people in many states that it’s not easy for the elderly to get a booster appointment now. Many places are full, apparently for weeks. I can’t confirm all the reports but seems important to look into? Especially outside few cities.https://twitter.com/NathanStall/status/1470181442273558528 …

What they should do is open up the mass vaccination sites and also when people get vaccinated get a box or two of N95 masks there seems to be enough out there for everyone.

Over six months ago, in NYC there were individuals who were volunteering to make appointments for the elderly and the digitally unsophisticated. Do we need those volunteers again, in other locations?

We just got boosters with wife , had to schedule two weeks in advance (west side of Cleveland). Rite Aid pharmacist mentioned that between mandates, boosters and kids availability, they were very busy

Here in Ivy League New Hampshire, appointments are weeks away. And very hard to find online--you have to visit each pharmacy, sometimes create an acct, answer a dozen stupid ?, only to find there is nothing available. I gave up.

Not in South Florida. Appts are available everywhere. Publix, CVS, Walgreens there are drive through state run facilities that offer testing, vaccines & monoclonal antibodies for anyone who is positive as well as anyone living in the same house!

Many elderly people certainly can not handle doing internet appointment sign-ups. It would be great to have Novavax approved so that an easy-to-store protein vaccine could be delivered at doctor's offices.

Have they tried
@solvhealth to find appointments? Also, it is often best to try the county website.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Many places taking appointments in my area (San Diego) seem to only book one appointment every 15 minutes. Are we relying too heavily on Pharmacies for delivery? In my searches nearly all options near me appear to be pharmacies.
