If facebook wants to read your screen it can. There's nothing in e2e that stops them reading the webpage or the canvas or whatever the app is rendering on.

They can put in a keystroke logger if they like or just periodically take photos and send them back to their server. E2E is irrelevant for them because they own one of the Es.
