It is getting clearer and clearer that mRNA vaccines are three-dose vaccines.https://twitter.com/EricTopol/status/1460629386646806534 …

What if a person has a 12 week delay b/w first and second dose. From what I've seen, the 3rd dose is most important for people who followed the short (RCT) delay of 3 weeks for Pfizer. I personally waited 11 weeks b/c of what I read in my research of vaccines.
From what I’ve read, I’m expecting the optimal dosing regiment to settle into a 0/2/6-12 month range I also delayed my 2nd dose for similar reasons, but went ahead and got the booster now, under the rationale that my exposure risk will be higher in next 6 month than if I waited
Any data on mixing the booster shot? Say getting Moderna if you got Pfizer as first two shots?
Plenty of data. It seems like regardless of what you got for your initial shot(s), Moderna and Pfizer are great options for your booster, with Moderna perhaps a tiny bit better.
And I’d be interested in seeing what turns out to be the best thing for us J&Jers who got one J&J and a mRNA booster
Is there any data on whether those who got symptomatic covid after the 2-shot regimen get any benefit from a booster?
Essentially, such an infection was a vaccine dose, and a person with hybrid immunity is (on average) better protected than a standard 3-dose, for at least 3-6 months A booster always helps, but it’s a question of % increase over current baseline
My friend got AZ in EU in April. She got a Pfizer booster 3 weeks ago and tested+ after attending a conference few days ago. Had a very mild cold so would not have gotten tested but someone she sat close to disclosed he tested +. V. mild symptoms. No other participant tested +.
Do you think booster did it? I mean we have no way of knowing, of course, this is anecdotal but is it more likely than not that with just the AZ series she could have had more symptoms/been more infectious? She's already testing negative after a few days & her kid didn't get it.
could you post a link directly to the supporting evidence for this? The account you link to is protected so I can't get the info from there. Thank you.
