Yes. This would need to be matched with a policy of abundant and cheap or zero-cost rapid tests. (What's the actual cost as a strip—especially in bulk form for workplaces? Certainly less than 50 cents, no? The fancy $$$ packaging is unnecessary.)https://twitter.com/nseftor/status/1456253764638289927?s=20 …

It seems that 20 months in, rapid tests are hard to find (or certainly not convenient).

I feel like two months ago they were impossible to find, but right now I see them at CVS every time I go. They aren't necessarily cheap, but they are available.

Mandates are an awful idea. Good ideas don’t need to be made mandatory.

It's not even 15 minutes, as you can multitask while waiting for the results. Even if multitasking involves exposing others (dubious that it would have to), that's only 15 minutes of exposure after testing negative the day before. Far superior to days between tests!

This is why we can't have nice things such as abundant affordable rapid tests in every American's hands ... Beyond maddeninghttps://www.propublica.org/article/heres-why-rapid-covid-tests-are-so-expensive-and-hard-to-find …

My understanding is that vax cuts transmission, but only marginally, so not sure daily tests needed since the vaxd could (almost as easily) spread to each other. (I am in favor of frequent testing anyway, for both vaxd & unvaxd, bc I think we should be aiming for zero covid)
