Really interesting. Early in the pandemic (Summer 2020?) I read a story about a head of a psychiatric institution saying that his patients seemed to have fewer cases of COVID-19 than expected and he hypothesized it was antidepressants.

I'm not a Dr., but I did read the whole paper, thanks, and it was very interesting. I'm not sure what qualifies as 'great effectiveness against hospitalization', but caveats I noticed qualified that it was "early treatment," and...

...that it didn't include the effect of vaccinations for obvious reasons. I also couldn't find whether it was Delta (dunno if it matters). Final question/note that may not be self evident because pharma names suck is that this SSRI is not the better known cousin, Prozac, thx!
