Months ago @CDCgov pushed for double-masking instead of N95-caliber masks in part citing how hard it is to breathe through the latter
Turns out, the data suggests N95s are more breathable
Wish data like this were sought before making sweeping public recommendationshttps://twitter.com/sri_srikrishna/status/1444096654391472133 …

If your n95 is "comfortable and breathable" it's not fitted correctly

Read the article above! It’s fine. People work in them all day.

Most people double mask because it's cheaper...

Seriously, your mask obsession just needs to stop. We are not going to become a country of masked people. Maybe some blue cities where the weirdos live will be perma-masking, but the rest of us do not like them and will not continue to wear them. It's not about comfort.

I like them and will use them in flu season henceforth. So, I think, will lots of people.

Public health folks were terrified of n95 mask hoarding by the public. But, then the prior administration just enabled mask hoarding & profiteering by insiders & middlemen. Sopic.twitter.com/qwHFKTNisT

...my PT got infected, presumably while wearing cloth over surgical. I started seeing her during the low point and didn't really think about how prior PT had n95 under surgical.

Why is the discussion always thick, headstrap N95 vs (mostly useless for the wearer) cloth/surgical masks, double or otherwise?? KN95s and KF94s are very comfortable, easy to breath in, and very effective.

Yep, I've never had the glasses fogging issue with either my N95 masks or the pollution masks I have from when I lived in Vietnam, because they're actually designed to seal properly. None of the commercially available fabric masks in the US are.

I bought the Kimberley-Clark N95 “duck” masks for my preschool. Converting the staff one humiliating mask at a time.
