I mean, sure, I *will* have that jumble of sugar and salt that has been dressed up to pretend it's a salad *and* healthy and good for you, but seriously interesting how terrible it actually is. (Yes I understand most fast food is way worse, but at least no pretense to a Big Mac).

It's pretty high in sugar, salt, fat etc. Nothing you can't eat, and I eat lots of things because they taste good, but the gap between what the food actually is and how it is advertised is pretty wide.

I imagine it’s all about the dressing so if you reduce that down you should be ok! Grains can be overdone too maybe ask for half portion of those.

Ah, yeah and I know all that and I'm pretty good at balancing it all. Still hadn't looked at a "salad place" for a while, and it was just a laugh how bad it was.

Unless there are lots of dried fruits or croutons, it’s almost all in the dressing. Leave that off and the salad remains healthy. Commercial dressing is mostly a packet of soybean oil and sugar
