The US timeline for boosters.
You'd have to work really hard to mess this up this badly and engender this much confusion.

VE for JNJ has continued to *rise* over the months . I've seen several studies showing to doing better than Pfizer now. https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/acip/meetings/downloads/slides-2021-09-22/04-COVID-Link-Gelles-508.pdf …pic.twitter.com/N4UC9ywfdO
You can just walk into any pharmacy and say you've never had a dose in your life.pic.twitter.com/QBVK8g3irS
This is true. Or even say you are there for a booster. Pharmacies would rather use the dose than throw it out.
As you know, we have a broken system that can't figure out how to give advice to J&J recipients The system which relies on J&J filing data, FDA evaluating, etc. works fine during normal times But not in a pandemic Its a travesty we can't manage it better
Here's the question - what's the drawback if J&J recepient takes mRNA shot? Are there any risks? Why not simply give them an option
Germany started giving mRNA to J&J recipients a while ago.
It is horrible! My wife survived cancer treatment last year and we both got J&J in March. Even her docs not sure what she should do. We are tempted to just go get mRNA dose anyway.
Nobody would blame you if you did. Best of luck.
I got a J&J in April in CA. After following the research (as a layperson), I went to Reno in July and got a Pfizer. I’m a rule-follower by nature and so felt a bit guilty — but I would be furious if I were still waiting around for permission at this point.
Good move
