Okay. Maybe it's Kevin's remark that I also interpreted your presumptive wording? Kevin is directly suggested there wasn't a lot of scientific work and each "side" "just knew" without evidence etc. ?

tl;dr is that what the current guidelines consider as "droplets" are mostly not—they even have the micron size wrong by an order of 20x, astonishing really. But not everything airborne is measles, well not necessarily (though Delta is R0 ~6? 8?).

Oh yeah, I completely agree that it is not correct, but my point is that was the paradigm hospitals ran by and doctors were trained in. Was it different in Asia, or did they just have a specifically different sense of which group SARS-CoV2 fell in? And if so, why?
