Thank you. The messaging in UK has been on *less* severity for people who are vaccinated, and lower hospitalisations. That's it. They're mostly unvaccinated people, incl children, but no one's talked about Delta being more severe for them. We're not vaccinating age 12+ yet.

1/2 I thought data shows hospitalization rate is now about 2x higher than w/ last year’s strains? That sure suggests Delta creates more severe illness. Also fact that one vaxx shot doesn’t protect much against Delta like it used to w/ Alpha strains.
2/2 Also, breakthrough infections are rising. And fully vaxxed people, if infected, are carrying the same viral loads as unvaxxed people. That didn’t used to be the case, either.
Does this greater transmissibility change anything in terms of outdoor transmission? If I were in a tightly packed crowd like Lollapalooza, would personally wear a mask. But curious what you're finding. Pardon me if I missed any prior posts about this.
