Looking across Europe, I am strongly convinced now this is the same basic pattern everywhere, the only difference being the heavily vaccinated countries get off *way* more likely and the unvaccinated ones don’t.

think it's easiest with a picture: essentially, the hypothesis (with quite a lot of good evidence, imho) is that the time between infections is shorter & so outbreaks are "faster" in a sense.pic.twitter.com/q5KBNLhopC
