“In reality, risk factors concentrate among the relatively few who have disproportionately higher exposure and onward transmission risks.”
“Most high-risk exposures represent nonmodifiable risks due to living and working conditions.”

How are living and working conditions nonmodifiable? We don't want to modify ≠ nonmodifiable. * sickleave * protection at work & on the way to work * hotel isolation are all achievable and will modify risk significantly.

How many countries are willing to do that? Most of the time it doesn’t even come up in the discourse. People just talk about how it’s economically infeasible to “lock down” and there’s no discussion of what government could do to help.

In which case, just say it. Herd immunity = We are killing our poor and marginalised communities. Poor people are dying so you don't have to wear your mask. Great election slogan.

Yep, you must be satire. It's a whole article exactly about how socioeconomic disadvantaged structures who suffers. One of the most spectacular examples of willful misreading I've encountered lately, and there are a lot of competitors.
