Reading the piece now. What's been galling re: the writing on the origins of this virus is that *nobody* seems to be able to set out a frame/criteria by which to infer whether the origin was natural zoonotic or lab accident. And how would/should one decide on likelihood. +

If it were a lab leak, one would know what kind of info which has no alternative explanation, would point towards it. Else, the null has to be a natural aka zoonotic origins. Which is far more likely in a massive travel/commercial hub + wet markets.
