So I’m moving soon. So far, I’ve found: my PhD diploma. Notes for my masters thesis. Boxes of things labeled “to sort”.
Boxes of thing with no label. Calendars never used, going back, umm, a few years. Maybe many years. Stuff (??) other people left, long time ago. Fun day.

I meant to reply with “label these as ‘essential cables’ and move on, no need to tempt fate.” But now!!

Gonna call that a win. Well, until I find out that connector from 1998 for some obscure device somebody put their bitcoin wallet key in is selling for six figures.
