Anyway, more reporting and research that looks at the world as we observe it, and less motivated reasoning which we are all prone to, is essential to this kind of progress. Honestly, pretty amazing we manage this at all—an uphill battle, given what we're all susceptible to.

I just realized if the Feb 2020 Woodward interview where Trump says "the virus goes through the air" had become public back then, people would've been called racist, misogynist trolls for saying aerosols were crucial. (Guess he heard it from President Xi trying to warn him/us?)
