Was anything in the CDC's guidance not the truth? Is omitting the truth (vaccines are highly effective and reduce transmission risk, thus making masks marginally unimportant) not a close cousin of a lie?

You’re still missing the point about enforcement, warning, and more clarity. They don’t even spell out the reduction to transmission risk. It’s implied, not asserted.
