I concur. However, in order to make this effective, the CDC needs a masterful comms/design pair to develop a visual and verbal language that can consistently convey toplines, nuance and guidance at a glance. Establish expectations & standards f or normal comms & exceptions.

These slow transitions are the best evidence that
#COVIDzero is our only good option. We are missing out on so many benefits of high vaccination rates and low case rates right now because people are slow to adapt. -
I don't see the connection at all to the argument over endemicity (but taking advantage of exponential decay is good, along with all the trade-off considerations).

I wear a mask outside, & agonize w my congregation about opening, bc I think if you have the *choice* you should go with containment-promoting measures until vaccination is more widespread—not because I fear for my vaccinated self. Not clear what the *right* (best) thing is to do
