Even though there is very little outdoor transmission, it was fun for the doomsayers to harangue us about how horrible the spring breakers were going out to the beach. However, transmission remains possible in autos, planes and rooms which might be part of going to the beach.
-
No significant transmission proven from airplanes, and cars and hotel rooms are generally shared by pre-existing households

True, but we do know the crowded FL beach scenes led to/leads to increased transmission. I'll give you that normal beaching is just fine- which is why the ONE THING I did last summer was take my Little to our locals-only beach spot where there was plenty of distance.

Assessing safety in this pandemic must consider whether the government responsible for protecting health and safety has acted responsibly.

people in my town took all the "dont need masks outside" thing and are now wearing masks alarmingly less indoors too. so thanks for pushing this whole non-problem

That's not good.

My friends keep railing against unmasked joggers in the suburbs: is there even one case of transmission from something like a jogger passing by?
-
To me it seems really bad for public health to shame folks for outdoor maskless jogging in suburban settings but they get mad at me and act like I’m some sort of antimasker reactionary.
