In the piece, I spell out my own interpretation of what the guidelines (in their totality) imply about CDC's assumptions, and where I think things stand, but it would be really, really helpful if they spelled it out explicitly, and also resolve the various inconsistencies.

As our BMJ piece with
@mugecevik and@sdbaral highlights focusing on low but visible risks (outdoors/beaches) is a serious threat to equity and effective mitigations. Most of those infected, sick and dying around the world are poorer frontline workers in workplaces. Indoors.Show this threadThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

France is starting to say no@need to have mask outside. I guess it’s protecting against virus versus breathing oxygen. I was chocked watching the education minister doing physical exercice wearing a mask. Is this not breathing CO2?

It's not much CO2. Outdoor mask rules here (MA) may have lifted this week (and today is 80% day for me, yay!) but I have been biking all my errands in a mask, sometimes I am late and ride pretty hard. Mask is also not "easy", but it is braced to keep it from collapsing.
