I mean also the fact that public health authorities continue to be reluctant (even if they only subtly imply it) to say “once most get vaccinated, NPIs can go away.” By them not saying that, they are contributing to hesitancy.

I distinctly remember wishing like nine months ago that authorities would articulate what the goal was, what conditions would allow us to relax restrictions, rather than just focusing on current rules. Still feels like we’ve barely made progress on that front.

Is there any systematic review about countries officially recognising the dominant aerosol path and their state in the epidemic? I have seen convincing case data and fully support the aerosol dominance, but maybe such a review would help convincing the laggards (such as WHO)?
