Correcting some aspects here- 1. There have been outbreaks of the B.1.351 variants in primaries, and resulted in surge testing in schools 2. Schools in Scotland partly opened on the 22nd Feb (primaries), & positivity rates in children have increased several fold sincehttps://twitter.com/zeynep/status/1384304239959105536 …

That’s not what his garbled string—just thrown together to scare–says. Enabling this isn’t harmless.

I'm correcting your thread, which puts out information that isn't accurate (e.g. Scottish school openings). I've put down an evidenced thread here about variant spread in schools- we've learned a lot about this from our experience with B117 and now with B.1.351

My thread isn’t about Scottish schools since 103 mostly travel linked cases oversampled in a database aren’t relevant to them. But I like the correction urge! The world would really benefit from correcting the garbled, scary and misleading tweets

It's not a correction 'urge'. You've stated before that you'd like to be corrected if you made an error- Scottish schools returned (primaries- P1-3) on 22nd Feb, and remaining primaries & some secondaries 15th March. The link you've put in is remaining returns after easter.

I've asked Eric to correct his thread as well with the caveat that he was not referring to B.1.617 spread. I would hope given that you've critiqued him putting out misleading information, that you would correct the information you've put out as well.
