I don't think there's been any study that establishes that this vaccine prevents the virus from entering cells. The studies that claim infection prevention are using swab tests, which would only detect a sizable systemic infection.
A virus entering a cell is not infection. There has to be sustained presence of virus with cycles of transmission between cells and enough virus release to measure on pcr. A polio vaccine blocks sustained viral replication not absolute block on a single virus in a single cell.
