We now have more data supporting the airborne nature of sars-2 than we have for measles. Looking forward to hearing from ID colleagues about why measles cases can now be managed with droplet precautions.

Yes! Let’s finally do something about the endemic influenza and the “common cold” rhinoviruses and coronaviruses instead of normalizing illness and death.

those who study + practice IC and transmission should have a ready wit to grasp the fairly easily decoded range of vocabulary and concentrate on interventions. Most healthcare settings I know of are not well ventilated. Assumptions should not be made - assessment+ actions needed

Yeah varies by country/setting. US hospitals generally have aggressive ACH standards.

Yeah I think I'm willing to bet that (under most reasonable definitions of aerosol vs droplet like whether the spread is bettered modeled by Newtonian mechanics vs Brownian motion) we'll eventually find that >50% of human influenza is spread by aerosols. Curious if ppl disagree.

"Forgive us for saying it was all droplets, it's not upper normie miasma signalling we just assumed it was like flu" is an ok excuse but then you look at flu and get blackpilled
