It's too early to open up everything and stop wearing masks in public—again especially indoors. Why risk so many people when we are so so close? On the other hand, yeah, *do* go outdoors and provide better safety for the workers who can't just "stay home".https://twitter.com/zachdespart/status/1366840400875556871 …

The simple answer is too many people are profiting off of scaring people to death.

“To avoid covid don’t go outdoors, because you know where people outdoors tend to head? Back indoors, and that’s where covid spreads”

The problem with outdoor is that once you leave outdoor, you end ups indoor. Outdoor is a gateway drug to indoor.

Meanwhile, every restaurant near me is full to capacity (inside). People are gathering together indoors without a care in the world. Kids sit indoors with poor air filtration/exchange for 6 hours a day, but the problem is if they go to the park or beach after school??

Brief visits to public restrooms are among the safest indoor activities in this pandemic: you spend as little time as possible in there, you don't eat or drink in there, and it's well ventilated for obvious reasons.

I start to wonder if there are some *real* guidelines hidden somewhere. Not of the type "if we tell you it's safe to do X, you'll do Y, so don't do X" or the type "if we tell you not to do X and Y you'll still do both, so better do X". Just the approximate risk of each activity.
