Just started watching the Diamond Princess documentary and I’m already pre-stressed. (It’s on HBO Max, called “The Last Cruise”.) Eeeek.

The early epidemiology out of China, Japan, and South Korea was incredibly well done and has stood up. We are finally implementing it in schools. The problem is the epidemiology of B117 might be totally different, but nobody has the impetus to do what those countries did now.

I remember Fauchi back then. He knew. He wasn't saying masks not good. It was-- ordinary people don't need masks. We need them for the hospitals. They didn't want a toilet paper run and they screwed up. But, there wasn't a run on masks.

Then imagine Sweden; These measures are still not up everywhere in our country! Only recently did we start isolation of asymptomatic cases. And still no general mask mandate apart from a couple of specific hours on public transport! Not even mask mandates in all our hospitals!
