Yeah, I mean, there are aspects I **have** enjoyed and things I'll now prefer, though the points of enjoyment are overwhelmingly tied to being being v lucky to be able to work from home, not had much financial impact etc. But I also can't wait to see people again.

Many of our mask rules are fairly nonsensical, to be honest, and in most places, people have kinda figured it out but... I'm contacted daily by people who work with people not required to mask up indoors "because six feet" and constantly observe pointless mask obsession outdoors.

Hence, that makes going forward even more difficult because people realize we haven't been fully rational and scientific about this, at least the public health authorities haven't been (though gotten a little better lately, a full year into a pandemic!)

Is there a good study showing that? 6 feet may be arbitrary, but is your position there's no significant risk from, eg, sold out outdoor sporting events with no mask requirements? Re indoors, doesn't duration of exposure matter whether aerosol or droplets?
-
If you don't think the maskless sold out sporting event is fine, then we should be titrating outdoor mask requirements, not eliminating them.
