NO NO NO That’s was a relative risk reduction... Reporting like vaccine efficacy. Wow now I’m realizing everyone is misunderstanding that stat (also people misunderstand vaccine efficacy numbers). It’s not a good way to report risk to be honest.

I don't know if Ezra's numbers are right, but if 96% of kids 0-4 don't need hospitalization, 4% do need hospitalization, thus 1/25? at least that's how I read it… as a parent of two kids 0-4, definitely higher than I would have thought?

but, maybe this relates to the percentage of kids with other risk factors?
