Same with transmission via aerosols, imo. For so long they clung to droplet transmission as the primary vector, even though bioaerosol experts were screaming from the rooftops about aerosols. Isn't this also a good reason bigger cities should, if feasible, make as many mass vaccine clinics outdoors/drive-up? If building is huge and well-ventilated, fine. But outdoor clinic in nice weather seems no-brainer? Is there a downside to outdoors?

As long as you can have staff still monitor folks for the 15 minutes after (which is not hard) yes, I think outdoor sites are ideal
