Also thinking about it... It was long enough so I was looking for thing to cut, but look at the way we've made the vaccine appointment process tilt so heavily towards the better-off & those with tech knowledge and time/relatives to keep refreshing. Same erasure of the victims...

Really a great article, but there is a paradox I have been left with. I agree we need people to be comfortable with uncertainty. But I think a lot of the wet blanket response to the vaccine came from that same place. Nobody wants to be Dr. Pangloss. Not after the year we've had.
