I’m absolutely on board with the caution! Just not the “they don’t” or “we have no idea” framing. Similar to “no evidence that infection provides immunity” messaging from WHO last Spring. Need more data to be precise? Sure. Caution till sufficient clarity? Yes.

US hospitals have cut down their outbreaks almost to zero (outside of unmasked breakroom incident) after implementing univeral masking (and not N95s) but they were having a good deal before. Why is that not evidence?
