So far: dramatic lowering of symptomatic disease, thus fewer infectious presymptomatic people plus fewer people who will eventually get sick and cough, plus substantial reduction in asymptomatic infections. Seems... more than promising. What am I missing with the concern?

Isn't this another version of "We think using masks/rapid tests will lead to reckless behavior that eats up their benefits.", while undervaluing the benefits and overestimating the reckless behavior?
