Question re:K/N95 re-use. We need official/authoritative guidance. Use it carefully and let it sit for a few days in a paper bag or a non-airtight box disinfect (don't wash or heat) and keep using it is my unofficial guidance based on this paper. Anyone? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7724761/ …https://twitter.com/cwarzel/status/1352299319617982465 …

Also: N95 vs KN95 vs KF94 - should we just get what fits? Is one better than the other in particular settings? Is there an easy way to judge authenticity?

For authencity, buy from trusted sources that can verify their supply chain. Those masks are very similar, the practical risk isn't much different on an individual basis. You might see differences in edge cases like long term exposure in unventilated indoor areas.

I would put the N95 under direct sun for a couple of hours after use. I felt the natural Sun induced UV would do 'something'. I don't have any scientific logic to back it up.

My friend the geriatric doctor told me the other week she re-wears hers for a week. Seems like something we... wouldn’t want out geriatric doctors to do?

I realize you may have already given us this info, but almost 12 months in now, do we, as the general public, know if there is anything we need to consider regarding whether to use KN95 vs N95 masks if they are both FDA approved? How to trust one over the other?
