Question re:K/N95 re-use. We need official/authoritative guidance. Use it carefully and let it sit for a few days in a paper bag or a non-airtight box disinfect (don't wash or heat) and keep using it is my unofficial guidance based on this paper. Anyone? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7724761/ …https://twitter.com/cwarzel/status/1352299319617982465 …

I guess I'm assuming supply issues persist. Maybe a hybrid approach of cooking it if need it again before whatever the X days number is, up to a certain # of cooks. I think they tested 20 in that paper.

I wish there was more testing of modest temperatures, such as 45C. Such temperatures can significantly increase decay rate, potentially without causing mask damage. There's probably a sweet spot there somewhere. https://msphere.asm.org/content/5/4/e00441-20 …

Why do you even need to let them sit for a few days? Are we still worried about fomite transmission?
