This overly bureaucratic prioritization, and the outrage over a few undeserving people cutting ahead (which I don't support but the harm is much less than all this) will likely do more damage to those in high-risk categories than the actual cutting in line. Roll it the @#!! out.https://twitter.com/polly/status/1348464494108954626 …

Agreed. Focus on scaling up the goddamn roll-out, production of vaccines, mobilize the public sector (not CVS!) to get this out in mass vaccination clinics!

At this point, it's fine with me if they mobilize the public sector *and* CVS *and* the national guard *and* me to carry the paper forms around. I'm a huge, huge fan of building up the public sector but I wouldn't overlook pharmacies right now because they have infrastructure.

Everyone. We gotta mobilize everything we have. And then we should keep talking about why we didn't have the public sector infrastructure (totally agree with Gregg we need a public health infrastructure).

Yes, all hands on deck. I mean even if the military can help, I'd be fine. And for a peacenik like me that's saying something.

I've seen military, including the US military, respond to natural disasters, and it's amazing. It's the perfect solution: they get a positive purpose and they have the kind of logistics to do rapid mobilization at scale.

Since hospitals have custody of doses, just jack up their reimbursement per shot, send the national guard to close the street, set up a big tent and provide logistic support. The lack of alacrity around this is shocking.

Yeah. It's enraging. Why isn't there a huge outcry???

At least Cuomo and Newsom are being called out. So many governors are quietly skating by, including here in MA.
