Yes, that's an important point. "We did a clinical trial but decided to take a guess at an alternative regimen" is not the way to start a campaign about how safe and well tested vaccines are.

I'm not quite sure who "we" is in this context but we have a head of state who's a cult figure and rose to power by condemning experts and spreading misinformation.

There are facts and there are data. The data can be persuasive, rising even to form the basis of a compelling argument for risk-adjusted benefits. Any such argument will, however, have little impact on anti-vaxxers as long as the mechanisms of propaganda are ignored.
