So frustrating. It’s December and Americans still do not have a reliable method for getting higher-grade masks. In North Carolina, Food Lion sells KN95 masks registered with the FDA. I can’t vouch for anything else. People are at the mercy of scammers. We need a certified supply. https://twitter.com/kieniastrees/status/1336665669232979975 …

These 3M 9502+ masks are FDA certified, I've purchased several as backup when I'm in the hospital. https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19-emergency-use-authorizations-medical-devices/personal-protective-equipment-euas … https://kn95respiratormasksforsale.com/collections/frontpage/products/3m-9502-kn95-headwrap …

That’s fine, but there are scams and fake ones online. How are people supposed navigate this? All I can tell people is to buy an FDA registered one, and not from an online-only store if they can help it.

I spent over an hour trying to find a kn95 brand with direct online purchasing sourcing from a manufacturer on the FDA list. I don't have 100% confident I'm not getting scammed, even though did more work than 99% of people will do. It shouldn't be this hard.
