Good article but you do miss something important about Asia. Attributing the gap between US / Vietnam to policy seems very simple as Laos, Cambodia, South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, etc. all have significant policy differences yet similar significant gap in Covid deaths.
So somehow Wuhan was devoid of prior immunity except for three months? What happened in Daegu, South Korea? Filipino nurses lose prior immunity when in New York? I’m open to the argument but somebody needs to explain the huge, rapid outbreaks.
