Those parents will also be motivated by the institution of anti-meritocratic, race-based curricula and admissions policies fast-tracked after the Floyd protests/riots by administrators who are exploiting the COVID chaos.

There's a wealthy public district in Marin where they've lost 10% of their enrollment to private schools/homeschooling. The parents have the money to continue on this way & a lot of them are angry/disillusioned by the public school system & likely won't be back.

And from what I've heard, the private school waitlists in the area are all a mile long....

True, but there are many of us that have stayed enrolled and continue to invest in the public school system. This is a great opportunity for the community to explore different funding strategies that promote equity. It can be done.
