So Twitter help aside, people needed simple, actionable guidelines and proper intuition about transmission. In my view, some concerns here about the word aerosol/airborne/analogies may apply to healthcare settings but were not a problem with public discussion.

This is true. It was the first question I asked when it wasn't in our reopening plan. I end up taking a HEPA filter with me to work and sitting with it blowing filtered air across my face. Try burning incense in an office and seeing how long it takes for people to notice :).
