My own blood boils when they close the schools and not the bars. But I do think, with all their flaws, governors and local officials are motivated by a desire to slow the epidemic—EXCEPT for those perverted by right-wing ideology into protecting individual freedoms at all cost.

About “number v percent capacity.” I absolutely understand your frustration. Any rule is going to be arbitrary and (therefore) wrong. This is a problem of making impossible political decisions in context of imperfect and always-changing epidemiological information.
