As per this @hildabast's article and her timeline, we are owed a proper explanation from Astrazeneca/Oxford. And quickly! Given the existing problems with mistrust and vaccine hesitancy, it's just unconscionable to let these questions remain unresolved. https://www.wired.com/story/the-astrazeneca-covid-vaccine-data-isnt-up-to-snuff/ …https://twitter.com/nataliexdean/status/1331355221549670400 …

What’s the track record for adenovirus vectors as therapies? I see a lot of references to potential uses in gene therapy and vaccines, but nothing really as far as mature therapies.

This is so important. People in developing world are already skeptical of western medications/vaccines and the argument that its cheaper is not good enough.

As a physician in UK, I can tell you that much of scientsits/doctors here are ignorant to the points raised in this article. Everytime I raise this issue, I am accused of being antivax or a killjoy.

Let's have the presidents' kids and grandkids get vaccinated on tv, but have the vaccine provider be chosen at random, by an ordinary person, in an inner-city.
