Another article making the rounds complaining about pandemic "epistemic trespassing", unironically quoting a medical expert who has adamantly & baselessly claimed masks would induce false sense of security—to great harm. For "trust the experts" to work, experts need to deliver.

Ive felt equipped to take reasonable precautions and generally ahead of the curve from following
@NAChristakis@kakape@HelenBranswell@balajis and etc but what advice for the next crisis can I give people based on that? Read twitter and use judgment? That's apt to go badly. -
And all of those people who are relevant experts i found through folks who aren't RTing them.
