Okay things aren't great but.. we aren't close to a civil war. And those kinds of models ("inequality"->"civil war") don't work. The last civil war wasn't because of "political stress" due to "inequality" and "wage stagnation", as the article claims and then extrapolates to now.

I'm gonna go on a limb and say "overproduction of young graduates with advanced degrees, and exploding public debt" had little to do with the last and only civil war, in fact.
