True, but with a caveat. For sales that go through any sort of corporate IT org, they really don’t work. Depending on the product that could be a neglible pct of the market or it’s main driver. Also, even in the consumer space attempting to introduce an unfamiliar brand will fail

Amazing move by Apple getting Google to pay, considering there's no viable alternative they could be using if they didn't get paid anyway.

Also search should be structured in a way that the search provider can't see identity or even number of distinct users or what devices or browsers they're using.
