*puts on academic hat* Yep. And it's also a question of public(s). There's public, and then there's public public. And Twitter also has a lot of counterpublics duking it out. I'm also this close to using liminal earnestly so I should just shut up and take off my academic hat.

Same here. I have a bookmarks folder with my favorite newsletter archive pages that I visit daily. I am basically reading people’s newsletters like blogs. Doh.
