For all the criticisms directed at him, and I have a few, when presented with the direct evidence, Dr. Fauci was quick to recognize what was wrong with the "it's not airborne" arguments (there is a fundamental error of physics in the WHO/CDC documents) and said so as much.

In contrast, it took about months to get most experts here to stop making almost completely implausible or evidence-free and/or incoherent claims about downsides/risks of wearing masks... Dunno what we lost, but here we are.

Japan is relatively stable now but is testing close to 10x what it was back when it was supposedly beating COVID with smarts. It is still not aggressive, so stable means 500/day with 50% from unknown routes vs SK with < 100/day and < 10% unknown...
