My current saga. My landlord wants me to sign a new lease that gives me only two hours notice to show the house to potential buyers, upon which I am supposed to vacate the house—and if I don't do that three times, he can evict me. Two hours notice. In the middle of a pandemic.

That is almost certainly not legal. If you live in an area with the kind of demand that requires such fast turnaround for buyers, you likely also live in a place with tenants rights that make several of these terms moot or actionable

There's no local law I can find requiring notification of entry for showings (or maintenance). I don't think he can require that she vacate since "quiet enjoyment" is provided for, but if the potential buyers are quiet and don't block use of the property, then... :/

In which case I'll let the potential buyers what I think of the no-notice intrusion. Not sure why my landlord is not agreeing to my offers to cooperate as long as I have, you know, reasonable notice like 24 hours.. This has been baffling but it is what it is. I'll fight in court.
